Rough Sleepers Emergency shelter |

Wakefield Baptist church is working in partnership with Wakefield District Council to provide an emergency extreme weather provision for rough sleepers over the winter months.
The provision is triggered if the temperature falls below zero on three consecutive nights. If this happens volunteers are notified no later than lunchtime on the day of opening and the Church will open between the hours on 8pm and 8am to provide a hot meal and a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning. We need volunteers to help us do this. There is a volunteer calendar on line at:
